This course will provide an in-depth understanding of Hyper Historian. The instructor(s) will guide students through features related to data processing based on calculation and aggregation, multi-server and redundant architectures, project scalability, data export and 3rd party interfaces, and performance improvement.

Who should attend this class?

This course is designed for those who seek for more optimized and robust solutions in Hyper Historian. While Express versions of the Historian are covered in GENESIS64 courses, this course is focused exclusively on the Historian and will cover it at length.

Course Objectives

Become familiar with Hyper Historian advanced features:

  • Configure aggregate groups and aggregated sub-tags with various pre-defined functions
  • Create Calculated Tag to perform customized calculations
  • Merge data between different Historian environments
  • Use MergeWorX plugin to directly import data
  • Schedule to export data into a data lake
  • Use SQL Query Engine to efficiently access data
  • Browse and manipulate historical data using TrendWorX Viewer
  • Gain knowledge of Hyper Historian Redundancy options
  • Create report on historical data of original values or aggregated results
