About École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay

In 2014, École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay (also known as ENS Paris-Saclay or Normale Sup’ Paris-Saclay) became a founding member of the Paris-Saclay University as part of an initiative to integrate and combine resources from different grandes écoles, public universities, and research institutions.

In 2019, the school moved to a new campus located in the Gif-sur-Yvette university community on the Saclay plateau, otherwise known as France’s “Silicon Valley”.

The École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay is therefore strategically located near other members of the Paris-Saclay research-intensive and business cluster. As part of the world’s leading research organizations in various fields, this cluster forms the top level of research and education in the French higher educational system.
