Habib Rehman

Director Asia Pacific

Dr. Habib Rehman joined Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions (formerly ICONICS) in 1997 as QA Manager, where he led quality assurance efforts for the first 32-bit edition of the company’s flagship software. He played a key role in the successful launch of the first three versions of GENESIS32, collaborating closely with OEMs and channel partners to ensure market readiness and adoption.

In 1999, he relocated to Sydney to establish the ICONICS Asia Pacific office, serving as Managing Director. Under his leadership, the regional presence expanded significantly through strategic partnerships, long-term high-value project wins, and the introduction of key OEM relationships. He also coordinated with Mitsubishi Electric during the acquisition and digital transformation of ICONICS in 2019, strengthening our position in the region.

With deep expertise in large-scale system design across smart buildings, data centers, manufacturing, utilities, and infrastructure, Dr. Habib Rehman brings a unique blend of technical insight and industry experience. His strong customer relationships and understanding of vertical markets continue to drive growth and innovation for the company.

He holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sheffield, UK. Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions, he held diverse roles in industrial development, network engineering, business process re-engineering, and ISO 9000 consulting.
