About DeviceXPlorer OPC Server

DeviceXPlorer OPC Server is the leading global solution for OPC connectivity. DeviceXPlorer is available as a standalone installation for use in any application, and can be bundled with the ICONICS software suite. DeviceXPlorer offers drivers for control devices on the manufacturing floor such as PLCs, machine tools, and robots. DeviceXPlorer is compatible with OPC UA (Unified Architecture), OPC DA (Data Access), and OPC AE (Alarms & Events), and offers both high performance and easy configuration.

How Does DeviceXPlorer OPC Server Work with ICONICS GENESIS64?

GENESIS64 collects and visualizes real-time data from equipment controlled by various PLCs via DeviceXPlorer OPC Server.​ GENESIS64 featured centralized management of facilities statuses and can communicate with DeviceXPlorer OPC Server via OPC UA and OPC Classic.

DeviceXPlorer OPC Server Editions

Choose between two editions of DeviceXPlorer OPC Server both versions support OPC UA and have licensing and installation integrated with the ICONICS Suite. Advanced (AD) Edition supports most common controller types, but some special devices/protocols require the Enterprise (EP) Edition. Please refer to our complete compatibility list here.

Advanced (AD)

• Supports one single vendor with multiple controller device and protocol types, up to 255 concurrent connections

Enterprise (EP)

• Supports ALL vendors with ALL controller device and protocol types, up to 255 concurrent connections
