The TRIPLE’s state-of-the-art heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems are visualized, monitored, and operated using Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions software. In fact, SysCom used GENESIS64 to create a graphical user interface (GUI) for the HVAC system that is accessible from a central control station or remotely via a web browser. Using WebHMI, the building operators and facility management can access the HVAC system from any location with their devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones. Additionally, the BACnet Connector enabled SysCom to connect the BACnet controllers of the HVAC system to the GENESIS64 application and use the data for visualization and control.
Furthermore, switching between configuration and runtime is simple and sensibly implemented. GENESIS64 is an extremely stable system that is easy to configure and quick to use. The platform offers a wide range of possibilities (e.g., simple color changes) and is extremely flexible and powerful. New employees quickly find their way around the application to respond to customer requirements and requests efficiently and successfully. In particular, using GENESIS64 to manage the Schwabenhof office complex’s HVAC system has delivered the following key benefits:
- Improved visualization and control: GENESIS64 provides a comprehensive and intuitive GUI for the HVAC system, allowing users to see the status and performance of the system, adjust settings and parameters, and troubleshoot any issues. The GUI also displays graphical elements such as floor plans, diagrams, meters, and alarms, which enhance the user experience and situational awareness.
- Increased flexibility and accessibility: The web-based WebHMI solution allows users to access the HVAC system from any device and location. This capability increases flexibility and convenience for users, who can monitor and control the system from anywhere without compromising safety or reliability.
- Improved efficiency and sustainability: GENESIS64 helps users optimize the operation and maintenance of the HVAC system, resulting in improved efficiency and sustainability. The software enables users to analyze the facility’s data and trends, identify and resolve anomalies or faults, and implement energy-saving measures and strategies. The software also supports compliance with environmental and safety standards and regulations.
