GENESIS64 version 10.98 Now Available

Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions today announced the release of version 10.98, the latest of our GENESIS64 product architecture. First released in 2008, GENESIS64 has been the primary offering of automation software for HMI/SCADA, BAS, FMS, EMS, MES and DCIM, among other vertical applications. With an installed base of 100s of thousands of installations, it is important that we provide an elegant migration path for our customers.

In 2025, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions released GENESIS version 11, the next in generation GENESIS evolution. While GENESIS64 was an extremely modular solution with versions including modules called Hyper Historian, Facility AnalytiX, Quality AnalytiX, CFSWorX, among others, the new GENESIS delivers an all inclusive feature set, making it an extremely powerful and competitive offering, GENESIS 11 is our most modern, powerful, capable and cybersecure offering to date, while also delivering a new and very beneficial pricing model.

Upgrades to new versions have always been a key benefit of the GENESIS64 product line and that continues with a transition to the new GENESIS 11. But the ability to take advantage of many new features and benefits, that have previously been options, takes additional planning and forethought. Customers wanted to have more time for that planning, and we took that opportunity to deliver a GENESIS64 update that delivers some internal technology modernizations and cybersecurity enhancements to better align it with the new GENESIS. The Step to GENESIS64 version 10.98 is the first step to planning for the new GENESIS 11.

GENESIS64 10.98 addresses issues identified in previous releases and introduces significant improvements across the entire suite. The update includes an all‑new installer, upgraded services, modernized security capabilities, and enhanced performance within key modules including WebHMI, IoT, BACnet, CFSWorX, and AlertWorX.

Modernized Platform Services: A redesigned installer and upgrades to .NET 10 streamline deployment and improve long‑term platform stability.

WebHMI Login Protection: New Account Rate Limiter supports safer authentication in public‑facing applications.

GENESIS64 v10.98 is now available for download through the Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions customer portal. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to take full advantage of the latest security practices, performance enhancements, and suite‑wide improvements, while preparing for a future migration to GENESIS 11.
