ICONICS and Takebishi Announce Release of DeviceXPlorer OPC Server Version 7 

ICONICS and partner Takebishi announce the release of DeviceXPlorer OPC Server version 7, which includes performance improvements and new features such as runtime configuration and three new OPC UA server features: Historical Access, Alarms and Conditions, and Reverse Connect. It also supports new cloud connectivity via MQTT and HTTP.

Foxborough, MA – February 16, 2024 – ICONICS and partner Takebishi announce the release of DeviceXPlorer OPC Server version 7.  DeviceXPlorer OPC Server (Dxp) is an OPC Foundation-certified OPC Server communications solution that delivers connectivity to over 400 different devices through 100+ communication protocols.  

Version 7 introduces performance improvements and new features such as runtime configuration and three new OPC UA server features: Historical Access, Alarms and Conditions, and Reverse Connect. It also supports new cloud connectivity via MQTT and HTTP, enabling direct communication with various cloud services such as Azure and AWS.

Takebishi’s DeviceXPlorer is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit implementations for maximum flexibility and performance and offers outstanding support for Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Schneider Electric, and other widely used controllers. Moreover, because it leverages the Mitsubishi Electric EZSocket Libraries, DeviceXPlorer is the best OPC Server for connectivity to Mitsubishi Electric products.
