Nuremberg, Germany – November 8, 2022 – As a leader in automation software, ICONICS, a group company of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, exhibited at the Smart Production Solutions (SPS) trade show that took place at the Messe Nuremberg Exhibition Hall in Nuremberg, Germany, November 8-10, 2022. This year, SPS 2022 covered the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from what is feasible today to what is needed to realize the vision of a fully digitalized industrial world of tomorrow.

The ICONICS Suite is designed to deliver capabilities that support manufacturing/Industry 4.0/IoT efficiencies and energy savings. Our software supports system integrators to design end-to-end manufacturing solutions and includes capabilities that seamlessly connect people, assets, workflows, and business processes thus empowering people and organizations to be much more resilient.

“ICONICS was thrilled to participate in this year’s SPS show,” said Ted Hill, President, and CEO of ICONICS. “We continue to evolve and advance our GENESIS64™ software platform, so our customers can enhance their operations, workforce productivity, and connectivity to positively impact their business outcomes. We’re always looking to further serve our customers especially through our partnerships, most notably with our recent selection by Takebishi, the leading OPC products supplier in ASIA, to be their primary distribution partner of their OPC Server solution DeviceXPlorer™ in the markets of the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Also, as a group company of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, we look forward to talking about how Mitsubishi Electric and ICONICS complement each other to be the ‘A Team’ of automation solutions.”

“SPS is the most important event in the automation market,” added André Lange, DACH Managing Director at ICONICS. “We are very pleased that this year we were able to represent ICONICS in person and interact with end users and partners through meaningful conversations. Our focus this year was on the Connected Factory and Connected Infrastructure in conjunction with Microsoft Azure Digital Twins. Our specialists at Booth 5-159 presented our products and solutions via down-to-earth and in-depth personal discussions.”

SPS 2022 was a superb chance to connect people, products, and processes and to enlighten manufacturers about how they can build digital twins for their operations and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). It was also a chance for our team of experts to explain how ICONICS can be used to collect data for real-time monitoring and control of operations for valuable operational insight. In other words, how organizations can use ICONICS to “make the invisible visible”. In turn, they will be able to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement and operational optimization.
